Become a Mentor

The Advocates currently have 26 mentors working with our scholarship students. They are dedicated, caring people who provide various types of support to the student. A mentor meets with each student every few weeks to ensure that the college experience and studies are going well. There are two mentors assigned to each student to assure that continued support will always be available to the student. New mentors are paired with experienced ones. The time commitment can be as little as two hours a month to meet with your student. If a student needs extra guidance, that takes more time as you consult with ACCE’s Mentor Support Team and communicate with your student.
