ACCE President Rufus Jones recently recorded a video public service announcement describing our mentoring and scholarship program. You can view the video here: https://tinyurl.com/2fr5ww7d
In the video, which will be broadcast on cable community access channels, Rufus explained that the transition from high school to college can be difficult, especially for students who lack a network of support, such as an older brother or sister who attended college and can offer advice.
ACCE mentors can fill that gap by inspiring confidence, offering advice, and helping students overcome challenges as they work to succeed at Cape Cod Community College.
“Are you passionate about education and community involvement?” Rufus asks in the video. ACCE offers a variety of ways for volunteers to have an impact and experience the rewards of mentoring and helping Cape high school students succeed at college. “We look forward to connecting with you and working together to make a difference in the lives of Cape Cod students.”
With the continuing support of volunteers and donors, who have been generous with their time and money, ACCE will keep on providing for the development of successful members of our community. We appreciate your generous support.
